GIANT CHIMP DISCOVERED – IT IS A NEW SPECIES AND IT IS HUMAN-SIZED
I know i and many before me have been writing about these giant apes before, but new information has been revealed. So i felt i write about them one more time. Also for new readers to catch up with.
Deep in the Congolese jungle is a band of apes that, according to local legend, kill lions, catch fish and even reported to howl at the moon. These band of apes, called “BILI” are, according to local legend, apes that kill lions, catch fish. Local hunters speak of massive creatures that seem to be some sort of hybrid between a chimp and a gorilla.
It is not verified at this time, that these pictures are the Bili chimps.

Who are these strange ape`s with cameras?
Bili often walk upright, and is 6 – 6.5 feet tall.
primatologist have now documented a mysterious, new more human-like ape. It lives in the northern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo in central Africa. It is highly elusive and lives in very difficult to reach areas, thou, little is known about it. It has been reported that these apes, which often walk upright, can stand up to 6 – 6.5 feet tall. That is between 182.88 – 198.12 centimeters and have 14 – 15 inch feet. That`s is between 35.56 – 38.1 centimeters. The apes have a more flat face, with a wide muzzle and most strikingly gray fur all over their face and bodies.
They have the large body same size almost as the gorilla, but their face is flatter and more that of the chimpanzee. They seem to be a chimpanzee having the size and behavior of a gorilla. They sleep on the ground like gorillas, but eat a diet mainly consisting of fruit, as does the chimpanzee. Most strange thing with this new species is that when the moon rises and sets, these large animals are reported by some scientist to hoot / howl at it.However some scientist denial this behavior. This behavior has never been seen in other primates. The apes are chimp gorilla human like animals having a kind of chimpanzee behavior. In 2004, Shelly Williams, a primatologist affiliated to the Jane Goodall Institute, revealed the first recorded close encounter by a scientist with these creatures, in the New Scientist.
“We could hear them in the trees, about 2 feet away and four suddenly came rushing through the bush towards me, she wrote. “If this had been a bluff charge they would have been screaming to intimidate us”
“These guys were quiet, and they were huge.” At first, she feared they were ‘coming in for the kill’, but perhaps sensing an unknown danger, they thought better of it and retreated. She said the apes had a flat face, with a wide muzzle and most strikingly gray fur all over their face and bodies.
It is unknown whether this is a new species of Ape, or a new species of Chimpanzee. Some have speculated that it might be a cross between the chimpanzee and gorilla, although it is unknown whether the chimpanzee and gorilla can breed. Or This, it might simply be an undiscovered genetic relative of humans. Some reports have called the animal a biped and say it often carries various things in its hands. The most exciting thing about this population of gorilla like chimps though is that it is much bigger than anyone realized and may be one of the largest remaining continuous populations of the species left in Africa.
And yet, despite the aura of mythology that surrounds these improbable creatures, many scientists believe that something new and unusual does indeed live in the impenetrable forests of Africa’s Heart of Darkness. And despite the difficulties, a handful of scientists have succeeded in studying the animals. Early speculation that the apes may be some yeti-like new species or a chimp/gorilla hybrid proved unfounded, but the truth has turned out to be in many ways even more fascinating. They are actually a population of super-sized chimps with a unique culture and it seems, a taste for big cat flesh.

A regular chimpanzee!
The animals have been described in the International Journal of Primatology and the UK magazine, New Scientist.
A remote camera trap captured this shot of a “Bondo mystery ape” in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Most experts believe the unusual band of apes are giant chimpanzees that display gorilla-like behavior. One countervailing theory, however, holds that the band represents a new subspecies of great ape. Photograph copyright Karl Ammann.
