Norwegian earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale jolted Norwegian Sea on Thursday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported. The temblor, which occurred at 10.47pm GMT, had a depth of 8.8km. Its epicenter was 601km northwest of Tromso, Norway and 1,472km northeast of Reykjavik, the capital city of Iceland, Xinhua quoted the USGS report as stating on its website. An initial report based on the preliminary data said that the quake, of 6.5 magnitude, hit the adjacent Greenland Sea further north.
Unknown to most people, and as reported by London’s Independent newspaper, the magnetic north pole is moving faster than at any time in human history, threatening everything from the safety of modern transport systems to the traditional navigation routes of migrating animals.
Scientists now say that magnetic north, which for two centuries has been in the icy wilderness of Canada, is currently relocating towards Russia at a rate of about 40 miles a year. The speed of its movement has increased by a third in the past decade, prompting speculation that the field could be about to “flip”, causing compasses to invert and point south rather than north, something that happens between three and seven times every million years.
Already the phenomenon is causing problems in the field of aviation. Tampa International airport in Florida spent a month last year renaming its three runways, which in common with those at most US airports are identified using numbers that correspond to the direction, in degrees, that they face on a compass. “Everything had to be changed; it was a huge project,” Brenda Geoghagan, a spokeswoman for the airport, said.
RAS scientists in this report further warn that this rapid shifting of the North Pole will increase the destabilization of our Earth’s weather systems which has caused historic droughts to occur world-wide, most importantly in the United States, Mexico-Central America and Brazil’s Amazon forest regions.
Confirming the conclusions reached by RAS scientists, London’s Daily Mail newspaper reported this past week that the evidence for “Planet X” – the mysterious hypothesized planet on the edge of our solar system – has taken a new turn thanks to the mathematics of the noted astronomer Rodney Gomes.
Rodney Gomes, an astronomer at the National Observatory of Brazil in Rio de Janeiro, says the irregular orbits of small icy bodies beyond Neptune imply that a planet four times the size of Earth is swirling around our sun in the fringes of the solar system. Planet X – perhaps misnamed now that Pluto has been demoted to a dwarf planet – has been widely hypothesized for decades, but has never been proven.
Gomes measured the orbits of 92 Kuiper belt objects – small bodies and dwarf planets – and said that six objects appeared to be tugged off-course compared to their expected orbits. He told astronomers at the American Astronomical Society on Tuesday that the most likely reason for the irregular orbits was a “planetary-mass solar companion”- a distant body of planet size that is powerful enough to move the Kuiper belt objects.
He further suggested this mysterious planet would be four times bigger than Earth – around the size of Neptune and would be 140 billion miles from the sun, or about 1,500 times further than the Earth. Though Gomes may have, indeed, found the mysterious Planet X, he was not the first man to suggest that it was hidden behind Neptune, which is 4 times larger than planet Earth and was discovered in the 1840′s.
French mathematician Urbain Le Verrier used Newtonian mechanics to analyze perturbations in the orbit of Uranus and hypothesized that they were caused by the gravitational pull of a yet-undiscovered planet. Le Verrier predicted the position of this new planet and sent his calculations to German astronomer Johann Gottfried Galle. On 23 September 1846, the night following his receipt of the letter, Galle and his student Heinrich d’Arrest discovered Neptune, exactly where Le Verrier had predicted. There remained some slight discrepancies in the gas giants’ orbits. These were taken to indicate the existence of yet another planet orbiting beyond Neptune.
Interesting to note about these “modern” discoveries of Planet X by mainstream scientists coincide exactly with the myths and legends of our Earth’s oldest people as gathered this past century by the Russian-born American independent scholar and author Immanuel Velikovsky who noted them all in, perhaps, the most controversial book of the 20th Century titled “Worlds in Collision”.

The No. 4 pool is about 100 feet above ground, is structurally damaged and is exposed to the open elements. If an earthquake or other event were to cause this pool to drain this could result in a catastrophic radiological fire involving nearly 10 times the amount of Cs-137 released by the Chernobyl accident.
The infrastructure to safely remove this material was destroyed as it was at the other three reactors. Spent reactor fuel cannot be simply lifted into the air by a crane as if it were routine cargo. In order to prevent severe radiation exposures, fires and possible explosions, it must be transferred at all times in water and heavily shielded structures into dry casks.. As this has never been done before, the removal of the spent fuel from the pools at the damaged Fukushima-Dai-Ichi reactors will require a major and time-consuming re-construction effort and will be charting in unknown waters.

The total spent reactor fuel inventory at the Fukushima-Daichi site contains nearly half of the total amount of Cs-137 estimated by the NCRP to have been released by all atmospheric nuclear weapons testing, Chernobyl, and world-wide reprocessing plants (~270 million curies or ~9.9 E+18 Becquerel).
It is important for the public to understand that reactors that have been operating for decades, such as those at the Fukushima-Dai-Ichi site, have generated some of the largest concentrations of radioactivity on the planet.
Regulatory agencies all over the world are a warning of the potentiality of a further degradation of the Fukushima nuclear reactors and spent fuel pools, and the subsequent nuclear fallout that would follow.
If these reactors go – and they could at any moment for any number of reasons – we’re looking at a situation for which you simply cannot stock enough food, or water, or supplies. Radiation would spread across the entire northern hemisphere and would be impossible to contain.
While we’ve argued in the past that there is no place we’d rather be than in the United States of America in the event of a socioeconomic collapse or global conflict, if these spent fuel pools collapse, then an international exit strategy may be the only option.

The government has asked lenders to increase provisions for bad debt by 54 billion euros ($70 billion) to 166 billion euros. That’s enough to cover losses of about 50 percent on loans to property developers and construction firms, according to the Bank of Spain. There wouldn’t be anything left for defaults on more than 1.4 trillion euros of home loans and corporate debt.
Taking those into account, banks would need to increase provisions by as much as five times what the government says, or 270 billion euros, according to estimates by the Centre for European Policy Studies, a Brussels-based research group. Plugging that hole would increase Spain’s public debt by almost 50 percent or force it to seek a bailout, following in the footsteps of Ireland, Greece and Portugal.

Also now very openly newspapers all over the globe are speaking breathlessly of a potential Greek exit from the euro, but it is very unlikely to happen before the next Greek election on June 17th. The rest of Europe is going to continue to financially support Greece until a new government takes power. If the new government is willing to accept the previous bailout agreements, then financial support for Greece will continue. But for how long?

But for now, Greece almost certainly has at least one more month in the euro. Beyond that, there is no telling what is going to happen.

Hopefully things will be as bad as many of us now hope they may be. It all started in May 22, 2012 – In a twist straight out of the movie Inception, a duo of developers from Brooklyn, New York, have built a sleeping mask designed to allow people to have lucid dreams that they can control. While it may look like a standard sleeping mask, Remee has been billed as a special REM (Rapid Eye Movement) enhancing device that is supposed to help steer the sleeper into lucid dreaming by making the brain aware that it is dreaming. The goal of the product is to allow people to have the dreams of their choice, from driving a race car to flying to having lunch with Abraham Lincoln.
In the hit movie Inception, directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, a team of corporate spies enter a man’s dream to plant an idea into his subconscious. It is set in a world where technology exists to enter the human mind through dream invasion, Nolan was said to have come up with the idea ten years ago. The futuristic invention is the brainchild of Duncan Frazier and Steve McGuigan, both aged 30, who have started a company named Bitbanger Labs. The two friends put up their project on the crowd funding website Kickstarter with the goal of raising $35,000. By this week, more than 6,550 people pledged $572,891 to fund Remee.
The inside of the sleeping mask features a series of six red LED lights that are too faint to wake the sleeper up, but visible enough for the brain to register them. The lights can be programmed to produce a sequence designed by the user. Sleep stages are divided into two main categories: non-REM and REM. People go back and forth between these stages throughout the night, with REM stages, where most dreaming occurs, lasting the longest towards morning. Remee apparently notices these longer REM stages and ‘enters’ the dream via the flashing lights. The device will wait for four to five hours for the sleeper to get into the heavy REM stages before the red lights turn on. The idea is simple: you are playing a perfect round of golf in a dream, and you see a pattern of red lights flashing in the distance.
Because the pattern is in a particular sequence, it would signal to you that you are dreaming, not so much unlike the totem object in Inception. Remee will display light patterns for 15 to 20 seconds, with a second delay of 15 minutes between each signal. During non-REM sleep, the lights are unlikely to affect the user. In terms of user safety and possible health risks, Mr McGuigan said In a phone interview with Mail Online on Sunday that he has not received any reports of problems associated with the mask.

After have been studying almost a thousand pictures from the ancient drawing and paintings, I have to say WHO WOULD EVER EVEN wonder what they portray? Here`s an image from France, the cave of “Pech Merle” near “Le Cabrerets” c.17,000 – 15,000 BC. The scene depicts a landscape full of wildlife together. Here you can clearly see the saucer shaped objects? The 3 UFO looking objects seem totally out of context.
These are two cave paintings from Tanzania. Both are estimated to be up to 29,000 years old. The one on the left is located in Itolo and depicts several disc shaped objects.
Here is another good examples from Wandjina. This image is from Kimberley, Australia. Possibly 5,000 years old. Some people believe they may represent Alien beings. Notice the “alien like” shapes to some of the heads.
The photos above are figures found in Equador. Notice they appear to be wearing astronaut space suits. You can see a comparison photo with an Apollo astronaut.
And one of the most famous images ever is of course “The Crucifixion” (1350), housed at the Visoki Decani Monastery in Kosovo, Yugoslavia. In the upper left and right corners, figures ride in what some people interpret as aircraft or spacecraft. It has even been speculated that the “pilots” are operating controls.

Because of their colossal size, the figures can only be appreciated from way up in the air —and there is no evidence that the Nazca people, who inhabited the area between 300 B.C. and 800 A.D., invented flying machines. Once again it has happened. A UFO almost caused a collision near an airport, where it was only meters away from crashing with a Jet Airliner. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating a mystery in the sky. A mysterious object flying over Denver nearly caused a mid-air collision Monday evening. The mainstream explanation is either it was a drone, or a remote-controlled aircraft or a bird? Are they kidding us?
As far as investigators know, the mystery object did not show up on radar Monday. Investigators believe this object, whatever it is, could pose a serious safety hazard to planes. Radio transmissions from LiveATC.com confirm a nervous-sounding pilot reported a strange NOT identified object at 5:17 p.m. Monday. FAA spokesman Mike Fergus says investigators will talk to the pilot and look at other clues.
“The threat is there from a collision standpoint. We’ll do as much as we can here to try to track back what time it was. Probably talk with some remote-control clubs, that type of thing,” Fergus said.
But according to the latest reports, the unidentified flying object has been officially blamed for the near mid air collision in the skies over Denver, Colorado on Monday. And object did not appear on radar and there is no explanation for what it may be.
