Ivan von Birchan was asked by a CIA agent who called himself Charles Morgan, if he wanted to shoot the Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme against a payment of two million dollars. After being turned down, he warned, among other things Swedish politician Inger Båvner (which have confirmed this) and police commissioner KG Olsson, as well as former FBI chief Alf Karlsson weeks before the murder. He has appeared several times in the police and the media’s investigation of the murder. He talks also about other topics, for example. how Olof Aschberg who was the grandfather of Robert Aschberg funded Lenin as the leader in the Bolshevik revolution in Russia.
Ivan von Birchan was asked to assassinate Prime Minister Olof Palme, but said no thanks. He then took contact with Alf Karlsson at SAPO, (Swedish FBI) and told that the CIA was planning to assassinate Palme, but they did not take him seriously.
After three fruitless calls to SAPO Ivan went to the police commissioner KG Olsson at Stockholm police, and there his notification was received and notified. KG Olsson then told SAPO that there was a real threat against Olof Palme, but nothing concrete was done and shortly thereafter Palme was indeed murdered. Alf Karlsson on SAPO denies that he ever received a notification from Ivan, instead he now claims that it came in after the murder. But the fact is that there are two people who certifies that notification was received, before the murder and one of them is the police commissioner KG Olsson.
