For 3 Days Tornadoes Have Hit US in 14 States

What is happening in America? Could this be a starter for something worse also for the rest of the planet? More than 240 tornadoes have been reported since Thursday, including a “family” of 92 tornadoes that killed at least 22 people and left 84,000 without power in North Carolina on Saturday. Tornado activity has been heavier this year than last, according to the National Weather Service.

Thursday •  23 tornado sightings in 5 states

Seventeen of the 23 tornadoes on Thursday were reported in Oklahoma. At least two residents of Tushka, in Atoka County, shown above, died when a twister touched down there. Most residents made it to shelters before the storms hit.

Friday • 113 tornado sightings in 6 states

Alabama and Mississippi had the most tornadoes and damage, with 101 of the 113 sightings in those two states alone. At least seven people were killed in Alabama, and more than a dozen counties reported damage, including Autauga County, above.

Saturday • 107 tornado sightings in 4 states

There were 92 tornadoes reported across North Carolina on Saturday night. At least 14 people were killed and 50 seriously injured in Bertie, N.C., according to state officials. Major avenues in downtown Raleigh were blocked by fallen trees. A Lowe’s store, in Lee County, above, was damaged extensively.

The Earth’s axis has shifted 10 cm due to Japanese Earthquake

Strong earthquakes have altered Earth’s days and its axis in the past. The 9.1 Sumatran earthquake in 2004, which set off a deadly tsunami, should have shortened Earth’s days by 6.8 microseconds and shifted its axis by about 2.76 inches (7 cm, or 2.32 milliarcseconds).

The earthquake that hit Japan this morning shifted the earth’s rotation axis is nearly 10 inches. It’s the preliminary result of studies carried out by INGV, National Institute of Geophysics and Volcano-logy. According to Richard Gross, a geophysicist at NASA, the Earth’s rotation rate is increased causing a shortening of 1.6 microseconds duration of the day. A microsecond is one millionth of a second. The Sumatra earthquake of 2004 caused a shortening of the days of 6.8 microseconds.  The impact of this event on the axis of rotation, said INGV, was also much greater than that of the great Sumatra earthquake of 2004, which was 7 cm of linear and two thousandths of an arc second angle, and probably second only to Chile earthquake of 1960. The earthquake in Chile last year shifted the Earth’s axis of about 8 cm. Latest about the Earthquake is that now ABOUT 10,000 people are unaccounted for in the Japanese port town of Minamisanriku in quake-hit Miyagi prefecture, public broadcaster NHK says. The earthquake in Japan has also had a greater impact of the Sumatra earthquake of 2004.

It seems now like it is going to happen. Yes! a pole shift. The Earth’s geomagnetic field is well known to anyone who’s ever used a compass. Such usage is typically on the surface of the earth, but it must be noted that the geomagnetic field permeates the planet itself and extends outward into space. At the surface of the Earth the field is proven by the behavior of the magnetite material, such as bar magnets, which when suspended and free to rotate, align themselves with the geomagnetic field. By theory and observation the magnetic field is believed to extend deep into the Earth, through the Earth’s mantle and into its outer core of what is believed to be molten iron.

The field also extends into space where it surrounds the Earth in what is termed a magnetosphere of which the Van Allen Belts are a part of. The first of these beliefs is that the Earth will actually tilt on its axis, as stated in the readings of Edgar Cayce and numerous other psychics. Look at it and compare it like the skin of an orange that is sliding round the fruit inside, and the crust of the Earth is predicted to move accordingly. And there is some evidence to support this: For example, the poles, over time, can make the planet “top heavy” with the accumulation of ice and thus, in conjunction with the natural wobble in the rotation of the Earth, combine with this to tip the axis over. Perhaps this would explain the Mammoths found in Siberia with frozen daisies in their mouths, and dead in their step. This could be an essential part of the ongoing Earth Changes that are preparing us for our great change. And now a British geological survey suggest just this.

The South Atlantic Anomaly (SAA) is known to be growing in extent and spreading westwards from South Africa, as the Earth’s internal magnetic field rapidly weakens in this region. This may be early evidence of a forthcoming reversal in the direction of the Earth’s internal magnetic field. We do not know in detail precisely what occurs during such reversals, including the changes observed in the magnetic field and the time a reversal takes to complete. However these factors are important in knowing where the radiation risk may be increased and how the atmosphere might respond.

Earth’s magnetic field has had many highs, lows and reversals in its past. The last reversal was around 800,000 years ago. So the Earth is known to be able to re-generate its field and has done so during human prehistory. Understanding the development of the SAA may therefore be significant in understanding the reversal process and its impact on life and the natural environment.

Michio Kaku Warns Cities Of Enormous Pending Earthquakes

Physicist and author of “Physics of the Future” Michio Kaku warned world citizens this morning on Good Morning America about the pending threat of enormous earthquakes. Michio Kaku is also a Professor of Nuclear Physics at City University of New York and co-author of To Win a Nuclear War: The Pentagon’s Secret Plans, Boston: South End Press, 1987

“In our life time, we could very well see one of these cities destroyed,” Kaku said. “Los Angeles, or San Francisco, Mexico City, Tehran, Tokyo.” Michio Kaku pointed to changes in the physical structures of human civilization, and how the new composure poses many risks. “We are creating mega cities where there used to be fishing villages,” he said. About the many disasters this year, he said: “Well, look at the Chilean earthquake. You realize it was so big it actually rocked the planet earth. The axis of the earth shifted 3 inches as a result of that 8.8 earthquake. The day is no longer 24 hours, it’s been shortened by one micro-second, That’s how big that earthquake was.”

And now City’s are preparing ahead? For ex Oregon Portland City and county emergency management offices in US are planning the state’s largest earthquake drill at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Yellowstone : Some places saw the ground rise by ten inches, experts report.

It`s getting heated up in Yellowstone. Things are pointing towards new heavy activity. Yellowstone National Park’s super volcano just took a deep “breath,” causing miles of ground to rise dramatically, scientists report. The simmering volcano has produced major eruptions—each a thousand times more powerful than Mount St. Helens’s 1980 eruption—three times in the past 2.1 million years. Yellowstone’s caldera, which covers a 25- by 37-mile (40- by 60-kilometer) swath of Wyoming, is an ancient crater formed after the last big blast, some 640,000 years ago.

There is a beast that makes it`s lair under the mountains of western Wyoming, a terror of such proportions that if it was to fully awake, it would impact the whole civilization.

Since then, about 30 smaller eruptions—including one as recent as 70,000 years ago—have filled the caldera with lava and ash, producing the relatively flat landscape we see today. But beginning in 2004, scientists saw the ground above the caldera rise upward at rates as high as 2.8 inches (7 centimeters) a year. (Related: “Yellowstone Is Rising on Swollen ‘Supervolcano.’”) The rate slowed between 2007 and 2010 to a centimeter a year or less. Still, since the start of the swelling, ground levels over the volcano have been raised by as much as 10 inches (25 centimeters) in places. “It’s an extraordinary uplift, because it covers such a large area and the rates are so high,” said the University of Utah’s Bob Smith, a longtime expert in Yellowstone’s volcanism.

Nasa warns : Solar flares from huge space storm will cause world wide devastation!

National power grids could overheat and air travel severely disrupted while electronic items, navigation devices and major satellites could stop working after the Sun reaches its maximum power in a few years. Senior space agency scientists believe the Earth will be hit with unprecedented levels of magnetic energy from solar flares after the Sun wakes “from a deep slumber” sometime around 2012. In a new warning, NASA said the super storm would hit like “a bolt of lightning” and could cause catastrophic consequences for the world’s health, emergency services and national security unless precautions are taken.

Scientists believe it could damage everything from emergency service’s systems, hospital equipment, banking systems and air traffic control devices, through to everyday items such as home computers, iPods and Sat Navs. Due to humans heavy reliance on electronic devices, which are sensitive to magnetic energy, the storm could leave a multi billion pound damage bill and “potentially devastating” problems for many of the world`s governments.

“We know it is coming but we don’t know how bad it is going to be,” said Dr Richard Fisher, the director of  Nasa’s Heliophysics division.

“It will disrupt communication devices such as satellites and car navigations, air travel, the banking system, our computers, everything that is electronic. It will cause major problems for the whole world. “Large areas will be without electricity power and to repair that damage will be hard as that takes time.”
In an interview with The Daily Telegraph, he added: “Systems will just not work. The flares change the magnetic field on the earth that is rapid and like a lightning bolt. That is the solar affect.” A “space weather” conference in Washington DC last week, attended by NASA scientists, policy makers, researchers and government officials, was told of similar warnings. While scientists have previously told of the dangers of the storm, Dr Fisher’s comments are the most comprehensive warnings from NASA up to date.

Dr Fisher, 69, said the storm, which will cause the Sun to reach temperatures of more than 10,000 F (5500C), occurred only a few times over a person’s life. Every 22 years the Sun’s magnetic energy cycle peaks while the number of sun spots or flares hits a maximum level every 11 years. Dr Fisher, a Nasa scientist for 20 years, said these two events would combine in 2012 to produce huge levels of radiation. He said large swathes of the world could face being without power for several months. Another scenario was that large areas, including northern Europe and Britain which have “fragile” power grids, would be without power and access to electronic devices for days. He said preparations were similar to those in a hurricane season, where authorities knew a problem was imminent but did not know how serious it would be.

“I think the issue is now that modern society is so dependent on electronics, mobile phones and satellites, much more so than the last time this occurred,” he said.

The National Academy of Sciences warned two years ago that power grids, GPS navigation, air travel, financial services and emergency radio communications could “all be knocked out by intense solar activity of this kind”.

Dr Fisher said precautions could be taken including creating back up systems for hospitals and power grids and allow development on satellite “safe modes”.
“If you know that a hazard is coming and you have time enough to prepare and take precautions, then you can avoid trouble,” he added. His division, a department of the Science Mission Directorate at NASA headquarters in Washington DC, which investigates the Sun’s influence on the earth, uses dozens of satellites to study the current threat.

The government has said it was aware of the threat and “contingency plans were in place” to cope with the fall out from such a storm. These included allowing for certain transformers at the edge of the National Grid to be temporarily switched off and to improve voltage levels throughout the network.

NASA also confirms 2012 prediction – The deterioration of Earth’s Magnetosphere during Sun’s Polar shift.

Scientists have now accepted that the intersection of 2 problems first the deterioration of Earth’s Magnetosphere during the Sun’s Polar shift in 2012 as recently discussed will be the real concern as we approach 2012 : and here’s the reason why:
Scientists have found two large leaks in Earth’s magnetosphere, the region around our planet that shields us from severe solar storms. Now in 2012 the suns poles will reverse , during this time a massive solar storm will wreck havoc on earth usually this causes no problem but now due to the ‘cracks’ in it.

Earth’s protective Magnetosphere may fail us, so the violent solar and electromagnetic radiation will make it through and cause many problems to life as we know it today (ex: disabling communication satellites, mobile phones, effective sleep patterns, & radiation poisoning of humans) Also as earth has to absorb extra radiation & energy this will cause possible changes within the earth’s core with energy being re dissipated from the earth with new volcanoes formed and crust movement.
