Over the last few years political and financial leaders in Europe and the United States have implemented policies, regulations and bailouts costing global taxpayers trillions of dollars with the promise that these measures would lead to economic growth and recovery.
What happened in Europe today is yet further proof that nothing they’ve done has fixed the underlying fundamental issues surrounding the events that led to the crash of 2008.
For those who don’t believe the government is prepared to take extreme measures that may include the seizing of retirement accounts, cash savings or even gold, look no further than Cyprus, the latest recipient of bank bailouts.
As of right now, citizens of Cyprus are scrambling to withdraw funds from their bank accounts after the EU, with agreement from the Cypriot government, announced they will decimate funds held in personal bank accounts to the tune of up to 10% of existing deposits. You read that right.
The European Union has made the determination that the people of Cyprus are now responsible for the hundreds of billions of dollars in bad bets made by their government and bank financiers, and they are moving to confiscate money directly from the bank accounts of every citizen in the country.
Restrictions have been imposed to stop people emptying their accounts or moving their money out the country after the Cypriot government announced that up to ten per cent of deposits will be seized and used to bail out the island’s crisis-hit banking system.
The deal with other euro-zone finance ministers is the first time that ordinary citizens’ deposits have been directly raided in this way.

In his 1928 book Propaganda, Edward Bernays, the architect of modern day public relations and marketing, argues that manipulation of public opinion is necessary to overcome chaos and conflict in society. It’s a strategy that his been implemented for centuries, but most notably during the last hundred years. Stalin, Hitler, Mao and Hussein found propaganda to be an extremely effective mechanism of control over their populations, as have modern-day governments of the Western world where “freedom of the press” and government transparency are supposed to be a key tenet of an open society.
It’s often a soft-sell strategy, repeating a message hundreds, even thousands of times, so that the consciousness of an entire people can be shifted to accommodate the plans of those in positions of power.

The manual also describes how prisoners will be processed through temporary internment camps under the guidance of U.S. Army FM 3-19.40 Internment/Resettlement Operations, which as we reported earlier this year, outlines how internees would be “re-educated” into developing an “appreciation of U.S. policies” while detained in prison camps inside the United States.

A California TV crew is missing since November 2002, and a video they left behind and found by US Navy Seals on a mission are the key elements in a story that claims extensive ancient ruins have been found under the ice of Antarctica. That’s according to archaeologist and adventurer Jonathan Gray of World Education Research Ltd in his free newsletter Archaeology News Flash. A spokesman for the company is reported to have said at the time that “The U.S. government said it will seek to block the airing of a video found by Navy rescuers in Antarctica that purportedly reveals that a massive archaeological dig is underway two miles (3,200 meters) beneath the ice.”
“The Atlantis TV production crew that shot the video is still missing.” reports Gray.
Attorneys for the Beverly Hills-based Atlantis TV stressed at the time that the company’s primary concern was for the safety and welfare of the crew.
But they stated they would vigorously oppose any attempts to censor material that is clearly in the public interest and public domain. The icy continent of Antarctica, they pointed out, belongs to no nation. The U.S. has no jurisdiction there.”

Officials of the U.S. Naval Support Task Force in Antarctica predictably denied the story or the possession of any video shot by the missing Atlantis TV crew.
Navy sources said they found the video in an abandoned supply dump 100 miles (160 kilometers) west of Vokstok Station.

At least four YouTube posters think there just may be a lost city on the continent of Antarctica.
A team of researchers are claiming that they have discovered three ancient pyramids on the ice-covered continent of Antarctica. Exact details are sketchy, but the team have released three intriguing pictures of their discovery. according to Stephen Hannard ADGUK
The international team comprises researchers from the United States, and several other, are from various European countries. Two of the huge pyramid structures were found approximately 10 miles inland, the third one not far from the coastline, clearly visible from ocean.
The team is currently planning an expedition to reach one of the pyramids to find out if it is a natural or an artificial structure. No further Details have been reported from the team as of 29 August 2012. More news is pending. I’m undecided on this one guys until further confirmation, so as always you decide.
Explorer and archaeologist Jonathan Gray discussed discoveries that demonstrate advanced ancient technology with George Noory on Coast To Coast A.M. Because such artifacts don’t match current academic beliefs they are often suppressed, with evidence destroyed or hidden, he said, citing the Smithsonian Institution, and countries such as Peru, America, Israel, New Zealand, France, and Australia as being involved in covering-up evidence.

Gray also spoke about his challenge to the work of Zecharia Sitchin, who contends that an ET race, the Annunaki, visited Earth from the planet Nibiru. Sitchin’s translations of Sumerian cuneiform does not match the accepted dictionary meanings, he commented.

Apparently a joint mission between Europe and the US is about to take place as they together is working on a project to slam a spacecraft into an asteroid in 2022, in a bid to prove that incoming objects from space can be knocked off path and stopped from colliding with earth. Didymos is a ‘binary’, with two asteroids orbiting each other – one is roughly 800 m across, the other about 150 m.
This joint mission between Europe and the US is now in an intensive face, as they working on a project to slam a spacecraft into an asteroid in 2022, in a bid to prove that incoming objects from space can be knocked off path and stopped from colliding with earth. The Joint European/US Asteroid impact and Deflection Assessment mission (AIDA) is preparing to intercept the asteroid Didymos in 2022, when it is about 6.5 million miles (11 million kilometers) from earth. European Space Agency (ESA) Officials announced the plans in a press release on Friday.
“AIDA is not just an asteroid mission, it is also meant as a research platform open to all different mission users,” said Andrés Gálvez, ESA studies manager.
The AIDA researchers are working with scientists from Johns Hopkins University’s Applied Physics Laboratory, who are involved in the Double Asteroid Redirection Test, or DART, a $350 million project that has been in development for a decade.
“There is a science aspect to it and a planetary defense aspect to it,” said Andy Cheng, the chief scientist at the Laurel physics laboratory and one of the key brains behind the project.
The target Didymos is actually a binary system, in which an 800 meter wide asteroid and a smaller 150 meter space rock orbit each other. Didymos does not pose a threat to earth in the foreseeable future. The AIDA mission will aim to send a space rocket smashing into the smaller asteroid at about 14,000 mph (22,539 km/h) while another spacecraft records the collision. High powered earth based telescopes will also observe the encounter. Cheng expects the collision to knock the smaller asteroid from its established path around the larger one. This would produce an orbital deflection which is both larger and easier to measure than if the space probe targeted an asteroid circling the sun, according to a preliminary report into the mission released by the European Space Agency (ESA) last year. NASA and ESA jointly published an initial plan for the project last May. NASA has said that if the project goes ahead, they will help the AIDA mission launch ‘the impactor’ – the space vehicle that will blast the asteroid – while the ESA would launch a second spacecraft to assess the impact and observe its effects.
“It is important to note that the target Didymos is not an earth-crossing asteroid, and there is no prospect that the deflection experiment would create an impact hazard,” the report stated.
ESA has asked scientists to propose experiments that could be carried out by the AIDA mission in space, or that could increase the scientific return from the mission on the ground. The defense of the earth against asteroids, which has long been a focus of former astronauts, astronomers and amateur space hobbyists, became dramatically relevant when the largest meteor to hit the planet in a century hurtled towards a lake in Chelyabinsk in the Russian Urals on February 15th, which caused structural damage to buildings and blew glass from windows, injuring 1,500 people.
The largest impact previously recorded took place in 1908, when the Tunguska meteorite flattened more than 800 square miles of forest in Siberia.
This is a short clip of scenes which depict scenarios of the happenings that might take place on April 13, 2036. The asteroid Apophis will come very close to the Earth in 2029, but is predicted to miss. Even so, such a close encounter will apparently still trigger a collision in 2036.
What are they hiding at the coast of long island New York? “Things” have been washed up on shore from there. Strange looking hybrids etc. But this time it’s not some sort of dead animal washing up on the beach down the road from the Plum Island Animal Disease Center. No! this time it’s a human body, found being washed ashore from the facility. This must be investigated more thoroughly, some have tried before but gotten nowhere. The Washington Post reported Fri, January 15, 2010 the discovery of a clothed male body by a security guard on foot patrol at Plum Island. The body is said to be 6’2″ in length, male, Caucasian, and partially decomposed. Police said there were no obvious signs of trauma, according to the Washington Post. This body looks nothing like the Montauk Monster which like the undetermined species earlier, was the size of a raccoons. Neither do media reports indicate any resemblance between the human body washed ashore at Plum Island and any of the barnyard animals used in the facility’s research. Nevertheless, conspiracy theorists can be counted on to conjure up a link between what they suspect Plum Island researchers do at the tightly secured government facility and the dead body washed ashore at its premises.
Another creature that washed up on the beach..allegedly a mutated rat?
Just the very name (Plum Island) of the place conjures up images from H.G. Wells or Dean Koontz, like strange hybrid creatures creeping through the island’s greenery at night. Popular urban legends tell of carcasses of freakish unknown beasts washing ashore on nearby beaches. And the armed guards pacing the secure facility seem to confirm just about any nefarious rumor you might hear about Plum Island, a government research facility off the shore of New York that intrigues monster hunters, conspiracy theorists, and the merely curious alike. When the corpse of the strange-looking “Montauk Monster” washed ashore in Montauk, NY in 2008, the media’s first speculation was that it could have been a genetic experiment that somehow escaped from Plum Island. More recently, conspiracy theory promoter Jesse Ventura hyped up Plum Island on his television show as some kind of secret biological weapons research lab, that’s not only illegally producing biological weapons, but that also poses an imminent threat to the region should any of these pathogenic compounds be released accidentally. Plum Island seems to have all we need to warrant a close examination with our skeptical eye. What do they actually do at Plum Island, and are there really strange mutant creatures being produced there?
Plum Island’s association with the United States government goes all the way back to the 18th century, when General George Washington recognized its strategic importance. The island is located squarely in the narrow mouth of Long Island Sound, which contains most of New York state’s important harbors. It’s home to the Plum Gut Lighthouse and Fort Terry, constructed in 1897, and used through World War I as an artillery base to protect New York from invading ships. Geographically the island is unimpressive; largely flat, a few low dunes and bluffs, a well wooded strip of island less than 5 kilometers long, and about 840 acres. After World War II, Plum Island’s handy combination of safe isolation from shore plus convenient access made it attractive to the US Army Chemical Corps, which planned and began construction of a facility there. However, those plans were ultimately canceled before construction was complete, and the new buildings were taken over in 1954 by the United States Department of Agriculture to study foot and mouth disease, at what became the Plum Island Animal Disease Center. The strange things that surrounds the Island is still very current today. So the mystery continues.
